Brown Fund was created to stand beside residents during important milestones and unexpected challenges alike. Working together with LifeSTEPS and your community team, we may be able to provide resources that support stability, whether you’re pursuing education, supporting your children’s growth, or facing a sudden financial hardship.

Academic Scholarships
Education can open new doors. Academic scholarships may be available to help residents pursue higher education and develop valuable skills for the future
Youth Sports Scholarships
Sports build teamwork, discipline, and confidence, but expenses can be a barrier. Scholarships may be available to help families offset costs such as team dues, uniforms, or travel.
Trade School Scholarships
Not all career paths begin with college. Trade school scholarships may be offered to help residents obtain professional training and certification, with a focus on careers such as Construction and Healthcare.
Emergency Assistance
Unexpected hardships can put stability at risk. In certain situations, limited financial assistance and financial education may be available to help families through challenging times.

Since 2011, the J.B. Brown Fund a partnership between USA Properties Fund, Inc. and LifeSTEPS, has provided scholarships and emergency financial assistance to residents of USA owned and managed affordable communities.
